MICHAEL K. AJAMI

Michael Ajami is the Managing Partner and Owner of Ajami Law, PLC. Michael’s practice focuses on Cannabis compliance and licensing, criminal defense, and real estate transactions.

Prior to his current positions, Ajami worked with the Wayne County Circuit Court as a judicial intern. He also interned with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, where he reviewed police brutality cases and offered recommendations based on his findings. Ajami’s legal focus includes criminal defense, family law, and business transactions.  Ajami’s no-nonsense approach to lawsuits has built his standing as a trusted attorney and firm negotiator. 

Ajami, a lifelong Wayne County resident, earned his Juris Doctor degree at Wayne State University Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University. While studying law at Wayne State, Ajami competed in the American Association for Justice Mock Trial National Tournament. 

Ajami was appointed to the Wayne County Airport Authority Board by Wayne County Executive Warren Evans in November 2020. He is an avid football fan, coach and was a First-Team All State Selection in high school.
